In my latest book, From Skopje to India, the protagonist, Majaorie Yakob, falls in love with her English tutor. In one of the scenes, he asks her, “Make a sentence from the word ‘love’.” They were seated in the garden on that particular day of learning. Maja thought hard before replying, "Love is a conviction."
Love is a Conviction
I hold a deeply held belief that
Love is a Conviction
Love is a Choice
Not just an emotion.
Love can also mean imprisonment
Of one's heartstrings
Of one's dedication
to the other.
Like nurturing your hunger
Love sustains
and quenches your thirst
for
devotion.
Love is a commitment to be faithful to one another.
Her heart fluttered as she explained, “Love? Now let’s see, what shall I say about love? Love stirs the silent yearnings of your heart until you find a common ground to say these lines aloud, 'I love you'. Love is to grow and treasure that special feeling inside for the one you love. Love is a conviction."

Don't miss out on reading this remarkable story. I promise that it will be a rewarding experience. I have written about Delhi, Agra, Varanasi and Majaorie's final destination, Calcutta. She was a native of Albania who travelled to the other side of the world on a mission. Read the sample on the link.
Skopje to India is free to read on Kindle Unlimited.
