The sea was calm

And the brightest of light brought forth
sheer delight

Were you there when in the darkest of days
My soul cried out to you
To silence the fears
that disturbed my peace
That day, I sought love and redemption.

When I awake
I seek your face
as a child
Seeks her Father.
My soul that awaits
From the highest of the highest
Abound thy angels
For among them, my soul like a morning star
Raises to heaven
in a brilliant light
I entered the throes of heaven
and found divinity.
