There are days when I gaze,
at these gentle flowers,
So consuming in their colors and fragility.
It becomes the centrefold of beauty.
------
She once stood on a rock,
Uplifted by its strength,
Even through her blistered feet,
It made her feel,
so tall.
She watched the seagulls fly,
Its graceful wings applaud
the windless skies,
that atoned
their flight,
It took them,
far from sight.
The bliss of love,
is as passionate as the soft, rising tides,
that wash ashore,
on days the seas are quiet.
The tides of love are such,
It cradles hearts on fire,
None can rouse its passion,
To kindle,
Flames of desire.
